Search Console + SendTidings

Add Search Console to your client reports.

Your analytics shows who turned up. Search Console shows how they found you. SendTidings folds your clients’ clicks, impressions, top queries and position into the monthly report, so the SEO work you’re doing actually shows up in their inbox, branded as you, on the 1st.

The SEO work nobody sees.

You spend the month nudging rankings, fixing titles, chasing a featured snippet, and then the client report shows visitor numbers and nothing about the search performance behind them. The organic-search story, the bit you’re often being paid for, lives in a Search Console dashboard your client will never open.

SendTidings pulls that story into the report: how many people clicked through from search, how many times you showed up, which queries are working, and whether your average position is moving. It sits as a clean section alongside your analytics: read-only, Google-verified, and your client never has to touch Search Console to see it.

One Google sign-in covers it.

01

Connect Google once

Sign in with the Google account that has access to your clients’ Search Console properties and approve read-only access. If you’ve already connected Google for Analytics, the same account’s Search Console properties are right there; no second sign-in.

02

Pick the property per site

On each site, choose the matching Search Console property (domain or URL-prefix) from the dropdown. That’s the organic-search section sorted for that site.

03

Set the schedule and forget it

Add the client’s email and pick a send day. On the 1st of every month, the report goes out, branded as you, with the search numbers folded in.

Properties spread across more than one Google account? Connect each and every property you can see shows up in the picker together.

Questions about Search Console reports.

Do my clients need Search Console access?
No. You connect your own Google account once and your clients just receive the monthly report by email. They never have to be added as a Search Console user or log into anything.
Is it safe to connect my Google account?
Yes. SendTidings is a Google-verified app and requests read-only access: it reads your Search Console performance data for the report and can't change anything in your account.
I've already connected Google for GA4. Do I reconnect for Search Console?
No need. The same Google account's Search Console properties are available alongside its GA4 properties; connect the account once and pick what each site uses.
Domain property or URL-prefix property — which do I pick?
If both are verified for a site you'll see both in the picker. The domain property is usually the one you want: it covers every subdomain and protocol in one. Pick whichever matches how the site is set up in Search Console.
Can the report be just Search Console, or do I need analytics too?
You don't need every source connected; the report sends with whatever you've got. But Search Console works best as the organic-search section alongside an analytics source: analytics tells the traffic story, Search Console tells the how-they-found-you story.
What Search Console data goes into the report?
Clicks, impressions, average position and your top queries for the month: the organic-search performance a client rarely sees but is usually paying you to improve.
